Fair enough, but when you compare Callahan to good captains and fail to mention Jagr, no harm in throwing it out there.
- MidnightMarauder

maybe some day when Jagr isn't a Flyer it'll be easier to talk about.

Right now he is the enemy on the franchise of evil

Five point lead with 5 games to go...have we all processed this yet??
- Blueshirts4ever

It will become more real with a Rangers win tomorrow night and a Buffalo victory against the Pens.

I can't expect an Isles win tonight, so if this scenario plays out, the Rangers will have a five point lead with four games remaining for each club.

And with the gauntlet Pittsburgh has to run, in that last week, I can safely say th Rangers will be the top seed.

If Philly is the franchise of evil then what does that make Pittsburgh?

I expect a Pens win tonight but they are running into a red hot Ryan Miller tomorrow while shorthanded and I expect a Montreal team that will fold at 1-0 tomorrow night...

I don't know...I am not ready to get to cocky yet. For how great the Rangers played the last 35 mins last night, the first 25 were just awful for me. Rangers still need to take care of business.

Winnipeg is good at home and the Rangers took too many penalties early on.

Once they got to playing even up and with the man advantage themselves, they dominated a desperate hockey club, in their own barn where they dominate teams.

Callahan led the way and the rest of the team soon followed.

Not a cocky statement when I say the Rangers are in a good position; being up by five with an easier schedule than the Pens.

I think Pittsburgh gets the nod for who I hate the most...Philly is Philly, they at least get in your face and their fans are there no matter what, I just can't stand Lemieux, can't stand Crosby, can't stand that fan base and can't stand the love fest that takes place between the media and that franchise (NBC as Larry Brooks points out stands for Nothing But Crosby)

Despise both equally but I can never hate Jagr.

Jagr transcends fanship for me. Would never root for him, while he is a Flyer, but I can't bring myself to assume personal hate because of the disgusting jersey he currently wears.

I'll admit the one Flyer Rangers game I made up there this year my host (not tomorrow's host) was a maniac every time you guys scored and he really annoyed me. When he took me to the Giants Eagles game up there, I did not gloat.

But tomorrow I am happy to root for my host's team, having no dog in the fight.

I hated him until he was a Ranger. Now that he is a Flyer I am so amazed at the kind of person he is in addition to still having crazy talent.

Do your Flyers posters realize how much you cheat?

Crims tells on me.

The host tomorrow is taking me to Nougatine, it's worth a little cheating on my Flyboys.

If that scenario plays out, a Pens loss tomorrow night coupled with a Rangers win, five point lead with four hard games left for Pittsburgh leaves me confident.

Jan, seeing as you have Mcd in the picture on the main page. How happy do you think he is not be involved in the nightmare known as the Habs.

it serves them right

back in the day they used to rip dumb GM's off all the time

like how they won the Cup in 1971 yet had the first overall pick which enabled them to land Guy Lafleur

the tables have turned yo

When I'm there I'm usually there or in 334. Used to have a mailing company guy who'd take me to Club seats. And for a while had a printer whose brother was the Ranger doc, so we had seats behind the goal. But that was back in the 90s.

idk man, i have no hard feelings for him, i am very thankful for what he did for the team and he was a free agent after being away for 3 years, theres no way he could have come into this locker room and expected to take a seat of power again.. That being said, i would have had no issues with his 3.3mil cap hit(at the expense of wolski)
