I think most of us would rather see the Sens in round 1 rather than a hot Buffalo team with an even hotter netminder. - B2B76
I would actually rather see Buffalo to be honest. For some reason, the Sens always give the Rangers problems, and some of the offensive talent on that team scares me. But, it certaintly isn't an easy call, because there is no easy matchup, even in the first round.

I hear you, we'll draw who we draw, just gotta keep up the hard work & the winning of course right through Game 82 & we'll be fine.
Do you guys feel any pressure to win a President's trophy? I along with many of you are watching the score boad for Pitt and Phi biting my nails as if beating them out is a do-or-die type sitation.. But what about St. Louis?
Lets say Pitt goes on a losing streak and in 3 games we clinch first in the east. Will you all be as nervous and tense wanting to really beat out the Blues? Or do you take a sigh of relief knowing we clinch first in the east and thats all that matters? Or perhaps some are't outwardly statign it but may be watching the Blues just as close as the Pens.
I for one am only concerned with the Pens right now but if we were to clinch first my attention would immediately shift to the Blues without a doubt.

I would like the Rangers to win the President's Trophy. I think it would be a really significant achievement. With that said, I feel pressure to hold off Pittsburgh, because not doing so would mean they drop to 4th in the Conferences and that would just suck after this year. The President's Trophy, on the otherhand, would be really nice, but not going to lose any sleep over it. Indeed, if you told me right now that the Rangers would hold off Pitt, but not win the President's Trophy, I would take it.

I don't care about any regular season accomplishments. ( It would hurt a little if they did not finish first in the east, though ) One goal- Stanley Cup. Only trophy that matters. #therightway-16wins

I dont think of it as winning a trophy or an acheivement as much as "Ok sweet home ice throughout" and thats it, period. Which is somethign to help in that ultimate goal. Could careless about the trophy itself but I think having home ice is important for this team.
Tonight should be a good test for Hank, Jets put up 48 shots against Ottawa and have had over 40 shots 3 games in their last 8, this is basically it for them.
Let's not forget where they came from and what that organization did to us late in the season for many years not to mention ending Richter's career.

I want Washington, we've got unfinished business, time to exact a little revenge
These refs suck, looking for calls against the Rangers , while it is the correct call, same thing happened in the TB-Philly game and the ref let it go and it was even more blatant.
