Karlsson is having a coffey-esque season. Spezza having an outstanding season now that he is healthy. People always said his big numbers were due to his linemates, think he has shut some of them up.

yeah, I have no doubt we can beat any of them. Personally my own intensity level if we have another series vs the Capitals may require some hospitalization, but then again, it would be sweet to finally beat them.

We had a tough time losing to the Caps in the playoffs in 90 and 91 and slayed that little dragon in 1994 too, maybe it's a catalyst towards the ultimate goal.

Oi, that John Druce series, oh the pain. And the Caps upset the Pens in 94 in round 1 after being down 3-1. That was such a sweet ride in 94, the Cup obviously but how we got there, destroying the Isles, getting revenge on the Caps & then of course the epic Devils & Nucks series. Idk if we could ever match that type of drama this year or in the future but its gonna be nice finding out.

Magic number for the president's trophy is 9 pts if anyone is curious. That a magic number for bringing us into a tie with the Blues with whom we own the tie breaker as of now. I feel much less pressure for the presidents trophy (obv). After last night I realize its not that important to me. Only a nice to have.
