Is it wrong I'm more concered with the Flyers playing Rags or Boston in the PO's vs Pitt???

I feel they match up better to Pitt's "style" than the physical/grinding style of the Bruins and Rags.

- flyguy12

I dunno.

The Pens always seem to get a timely power play against the Flyers in the playoffs.
And usually end up scoring.

*visions of Staal grabbing Carter's stick under his arm and holding it there to draw the PP still haunt me*

Good enough for you?

so he has 3 shutouts this week. bryz had them last week, and has clearly been the best player this month. so what?

what happened in october, november, december, january, and feb. really doesn't mean anything right now other than the playoff seed each team has.

- hammarby31

UMMM.....what happened in october, november, december, january, and feb.
has a direct consequence on where your team's playoff seed is.

Doesn't it?

last night i clicked on the cbc clip posted in here of the jr ot goal against toronto to knockout them out in 04. when the clip finished it showed a link of the flyers series against tampa in the next round, so i clicked on that. it was a tampa produced piece on that series, and while interesting to watch, i found it annoying that not once did they mention the flyers ridiculously depleted defense corps - not the players, not the narrator, nobody. yep. that 7 game series decided by 1 measly goal was a battle of two healthy teams. i think the former iraqi minister of propaganda produced it.

(frank)ing joke.

- hammarby31

Would you really expect a Tampa produced piece to have a Flyers angle?

**ahem** Champion rec league hockey player... or as I would put it.. An MHL champion.

Won it in a sweep last night. Took a stick to the eye/cheek as payment. Great game with a win in OT.

- jak521

Sad with Men's League's around the world instituting a salary cap next year you'll have to dismantle the team.

I didn't say you don't know his name, just as username funmaster18 didn't say you're a Blues fan. If you're going to be so serious, you could at least be serious about reading comprehension.

Do what the Phils do:

Rest everybody til the playoffs, or a game or 2 beforehand. Put the Phantoms out there (if they can....not sure about their callup cap situation), play the 4th line. Give as much of a reat to the bog boys. We need them more in crunch time than what we do now, because everyone and their mother knows what the matchups will be like come the playoffs.

The worst thing that could possibly happen to this team is for someone else to go down....

Rest up fellas.

- Giroux_Is_God

They should rest anyone who has an injury that could use the rest. Probably almost every player is banged up at this point. But that's different from being injured. Nobody should be rested that isn't injured.

Yep. Sure sign of tension when you see the classic "grow up" comeback being bandied about. Playoff caliber atmosphere. Very exciting stuff.
