I wouldn't say they suck....
- LamontSanford
They don't suck, but they are a way overrated team. Especially everyone that's not named Ovechkin, Semin, or Backstrom, who've been leeching off of those guys for the last few years. They have some young guys with bright futures, but not many players that can't be handled. Contain Ov, and you contain the Caps.

Last time I checked stub hub, you couldn't get a ticket for less than $100. this would have been a great game to pick up in mid-January. Now the prices are higher than a Leafs game.

ya, stubhub is showing $109 for the cheapest and those are 300's.
i knew I should have bought earlier.
I'm talking to one guy who has 100's, row 13 for $100 each. hoping he replies back so I can grab them
Why is everyone all down on the Sabres like "were going to lose" and "I have a bad feeling". Why?
If we win it isn't over by any stretch and if we lose its not over either. This team has proven its better when healthy, better since the trade. Were going to push this thing right to the end.

i dont get it either, i dont have a bad feeling or a good feeling, im just excited to watch by far the biggest game of the year. the way the team has been playing no one should be worried really, it should be a good game.
but i do think that little part of peoples minds deep in the back has the buffalo 'lose when it matters' mentality. not that i agree with it but its awfully hard not to think about.
In the Rangers game the Sabres did something radical, they SHOT THE PUCK and we won going away.
Against the Wild they were back to trying to make 3 foot passes at the top of the crease and it was much more of a nail biter.
If they shoot, they score and they haven't been shooting enough. With the Caps goaltending situation the more shots they take the better. Look what happened when they shot on 'King Henrik' - Bleed B&G
Buffalo had 37 shots on MInny and I remember a lot were legit shots... only 26 against NYR.
Sabres haven't skated yet today but the only change in the lineup is Turnbull out Kaleta in, so lines should be the same as the last couple of games. - Bleed B&G
Alright good... I was hoping Lindy wouldn't overhaul and insert Kaleta somewhere else...
Im actually kind of falling in love with this team... I love the young guys... Foligno, Ennis, Tropp, Myers..
If Staff keeps playing lights out and Pommers keeps playing like this...
With Staples like Erhoff and Myers on the Blueline...
If this team stayed healthy i really wonder how good we could of been...

This is Buffalo... what would you expect!
When the Bills were 3-0 and had 2 huge come backs fans were still saying they'd be lucky to get 4 wins.

I understand where the mentality comes from, we have a history. But these guys have been playing 'must win' games for 6 weeks and have come through.
There are a few scenarios, what I want to happen: Sabres win 8-0. Worst case: Sabres lose in reg at any score or what my guy feeling is. My gut says Sabres lose 5-3. It will be a game they were in but Wash pulls away. I say that still believing we make playoffs.

I found (and bought) 2 tickets for $130 each including the "what are you going to do about it" fees in Section 113. That's the best I saw. Ebay has a few low ones, but the auctions don't end for a while, and since the majority of people on Ebay are morons who don't realize that the only way you will not be outbid is if you wait until 5 minutes before the auction is over, the price will most likely drive up.

Way Overrated is a bit of a stretch, both teams seem pretty even so it should be a great game. I do agree if they can keep OV in check their chances go up two fold but that if is huge.

yea i understand where it comes from too, and to your first point that is exactly why im excited for a good game not worried for a bad outcome. to your second point i dont think washington scores 5 based soley on how miller is playing unless there are serious defensive breakdowns.
