The problem is that it can be very debilitating and playing on it can prevent healing. i dont know what bone is broken, but it could be a 3 days-3 week ordeal depending on how bad it actually is. When did it happen?

EDIT: Also, swelling can be a major concern. Not so cut and dry.

He had issues with it last night. He wasn't very aggressive and he was dropping into the butterfly a bit early, especially on the Malone and St Louis goals.

He's only played one game. It may be gotten worse because of it and maybe that's why he is out now? Only person that knows is bryz. I'm going to assume if it's serious enough to keep him out d the lineup, then it's serious enough to be concerned about. If it wasn't a big deal, why announce an injury at all?

I don;t fault him, either, but he wasn't as sharp as he has been and he certainly wasn't as aggressive as he had been over the past month or so.
