Oh, I have. But my wife figured out how to keep me listening. She will tell me something good, like I can go out or play my PS3 or something of that nature in the middle of a conversation. And by conversation, I mean her blabing on about god knows what or the things I dont or do.
- Deasr1

Last night my disease went into remission long enough for me to hear, "Are you listening to me?" I told her I was and when she asked what I was talking about I was screwed.

She was blabbing during the second period. Why the hell would I want to be listening. The game was really good at that moment.

I do that all the time. Always backfires. I try to tell her I'm not the only guy in the world that does that. Stop watching movies like Titantic and Notebook cause those guys dont exist.

Schneider, Bernier and Bob should all be wearing different logos next season. I don't want to see Bob rot at the end of the bench all of next season.

As things stand now, Bob and Bryz are the only NHL ready goalies under contract for next year.

Leighton, Backlund, & Bacsashimiwhatever are all done after this year, and almost certainly gone.

Plan seems to be to have Hovinen and Heeter (kid from Ohio State) play for the Phantoms next year. Neither will likely be ready for NHL backup duty. That leaves Bob.

So unless we're trading for a goalie or otherwise acquiring one, Byrz and Bob are the only NHL ready options in the system. And I'm fine with that for at least another year.

I usually just look very seriously at her and say hey, I'm not a parrot. Keep going. Then repeat the 3rd and last word of the sentence

I would think that Homer would be looking to trade Bob for a prospect (hopefully D man) and a veteran type back-up. The issue is what is Bob's current value? He's had a pretty good season imo, but was hurt earlier on (as was Bryz) by some poor team play. Especially when the PK went into the tank for an extended period of time.

I don't really think Bob hurts the team or their cap situation as a backup, certainly not to the point where we have to move him. There is really no reason to consider moving Bob unless somebody significantly overpays for him. That hasn't happened yet, and I don't think it's going to happen. If Bob was that highly sought after, he'd have been moved already.

He's worth more to the Flyers as insurance against a Bryz injury than he is a a trading chip. Hard to see that changing any time soon.
