Who says you have to go through UFA to replace Carle? We are stacked at forwards... Why cant we trade someone plus Meszaros for a Top D-man? Then resign Kubina and Grossman.

Heck maybe you dont even have to move a forward... maybe you trade Bob and Meszaros to a team that needs a goalie bad... Maybe include some picks if its for someone like Hedman... Who knows, but we do know Homer has majic trade fingers...

And another point to add. I don't think anyone, myself included feels that Carle is a #1 defenseman. So in a 30 team League, why would Carle be ranked in the top 25? Carle is a #2 defenseman in the League.

By the way, was Timonen listed in that top 25?

And the fact that the author lists Brent Burns as the 7th best defenseman really brings to question his credibility.

But since Carter joined the team they are 4th in the league in scoring.... Thoughts? Opinions?

Oh, I have. But my wife figured out how to keep me listening. She will tell me something good, like I can go out or play my PS3 or something of that nature in the middle of a conversation. And by conversation, I mean her blabing on about god knows what or the things I dont or do.
