The Nucks were in the finals twice against Ny teams & lost, but were big underdogs both times, last ye however I thought they were the better team than Boston but that's why they play the games...like last night w the Isles beating the Pens, thnx btw.

Well you know we try our best we will probably win Thursday as well. I mean no more pressure on us. Quick question though who do you want to play in the playoffs? I am thinking if you did fall from grace and ended up 4th you will play the Flyers of whom you own. I dont know if you guys want to play a team like Buffalo or Washington

we want 1st seed and home ice throughout, end of story

ultimately if we go all the way we will have to beat Pittsburgh at some point and we desperately need home ice advantage in that series.

If we can't beat Washington or Buffalo in the first round then we really don't deserve much of anything.

Being that weve been in 1st since New Years I think it would be a bit demoralizing to lose that spot right at the end, so I for sure want to still finish 1st and lock up home ice througout. I hear ya abiut finishing 4th and drawing Philly who we've owned this season but I would rather see them & the Pens kill each other in a brutal div series that will take a lot out of the winner & we draw whoever lands in 8th, even its a hot Sabres squad.

I hear you. I just wish one day we could be in that same spot. Seems like a dream to me though as this team always seem to disappoint. I dont 100% hate the Rangers but being an Isles fan I have no choice.

Pens verse Philly would probably be one of the best matchups and I for one would seem them all, but when it comes to the playoffs you just never know. I mean one hot goalie is all that it takes to knock off any team

I agree with everything but that one part... there is always some kind of rivalry with a team in your div.

agreed....between being in the division and the game last year, there is DEFINITELY a rivalry between the 2

noones saying throw the games......im sure 2 weeks in the nhl for donovan and katic wont hurt bports playoff chances. ultimately, its great experience to play against the best in the world.......after two weeks the isles can send them all back down, with whoever else is eligible.


as i mentioned before, ther's a huge difference btwn the top 3 picks and the 5th or 6th

This may or may not be the case but if it is, that just means the scouts and higher ups just have to work a little harder and make the best decision.

You can say that about almost everyone on the team outside of JT, MM, PAP, Nabby and Hamonic.

i dont knock snow. He has been man of his word. he has built threw the draft. Im with him still. I dont want to derail it. we have Strome, Nino, Nelson, Kabonov, DeHaan, petrov still yet to contribute.

But we need to sign a good free agent. I rather then sign just one rather than 4 bad ones.

We need to sign a few free agents or make some trades and get some new players in here, hopefully ones that give a shat unlike half this team who don't have a competitive bone in their body. They play well when its meaningless, can't turn it up when the game matters. As far as Snow goes anyone can do what he has done which amounts to not a whole hell of alot

The shame of it all is when the Isles had a real shot at a playoff berth, they blew it, now that they have a chance for the #1 draft they're taking the organization out of the mix by winning....this team is driving me to the mad house.

The better question is why does this team decide its good to start turning it on now??? It AMAZES me, that they feel winning games at this point is a good thing.
