More like Gomez Super Special Ultra Mild, based on the vast difference in their NHL salaries.

Cole has had a nice year and that signing has worked out very well. but i wonder if the habs will ever be able to land a top free-agent, in their prime, ever again.

Keep making fun of Gomez, but the bottom line is, everytime he scores, the Habs win!!!!!!!!

The reasoning is that nobody ever criticized D'Agostini or Eller as much as Latendresse was criticized.

Now, let me ask you. Why would that be?

- Pecafan Fan

I think it's because Eller and D'Agostini had lower fan expectations. In Eller's case I also think that people see his progression.

He got the same hype as Tender, and the same treatment, how come no one ever mentions him i wonder?

A 7th round pick got the same hype as a FC 2nd round pick who made Les Glorieux as a 19 yr old? Doubtful

Aye, but they criticized D'agostini plenty in his early career, same way they did to Lantendresse. Both recieved the same treatment, no one ever brings up D'ags, i was just curious why Latendresse was always mentioned and he wasnt, thats all.

What would you think of a Patches-DD-Parenteau line, freeing up Cole in order to give more depth to this team?

Parenteau at less than $3M a year? Maybe.

Over that? Hell no.

Yes. Let's separate that line. Do that, and we'll score even less. Is that possible?
