Dam forgot shock top...
went to beerfest last year and found shock top rasberry...not bad if you want to change it up from time to time. Only good to have a couple.
Overall didn't find anything new to write home about.
I did find Walt Whit if you like another wheat beer...

Case = $30 I don't think that is too bad

- phi1671

I had the raspberry before, was decent. Reminded me of the Sam Adams Lamberic(spl?). It was a cranberry beer. If you like those kinds try some Leinenkugel. They have some decent ones for just sipping.

Yikes. I kayaked that river before and you know its pretty bad when the meat of the fish is the wrong color.
- kgrpitt

Yeah, I've been in it too. My grey shorts were orange when I was done. I learn things the hard way.

Whoaaaaa malt top! lol. People tell me I'm crazy, and not just because of my next statement, I actually enjoyed ice beers once in a while. I went through a nice Bud Ice kick when I was younger. I still have one every once in a while. Mostly if I want to switch it up, I'll roll out the XXX.

If it's not a beer snob beer I'm drinking (I tend to get out to Ardmore pretty often, most of the bars there have fantastic beers) it's lager. Never got into the blue and silver beers thanks to Yuengling.

Dogfish Head is my brew... But there is this place in Newark called 2 stones... It has about 50 different local and micro brews, and they will let you sample before ordering... Very nice.. and high -end pub grub....

There's nothing quite as satisfying as a Dogfish Head 60 Minute from the tap

I got out to a place nearby, 2312 Garrett (had a decent gathering of Flyers fans huddled by the TV on saturday blocking my view), they were nice enough to let me sample things before ordering. I also like places that let you do flights, I like trying all sorts of beers. Interesting flavor of the night was a Flying Dog French barnyard ale.

I am intrigued by your line of thinking. I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
I have always wanted to host one of those. It just seemed to be a hopping good time.

We can get a bunch of folks from here to do it as a tailgate for a game. Buzzgate? More like Buzzedgate!

Next time you get to the Cape May area, head over to Goodnight Irene's, they have a great sampler of craft beers.

this would have anyone that wanted to partake to simply bring a case of beer. So, you know that at least you should have to taste a few.

Food wise
either order, meaning more money out of your pocket or simply just do the old fashion Covered dish.
I know I can easily throw together some spicy pulled pork or if I'm lucky would make homemade pastrami.
Do the snob thing and get some fruit and cheese to go along with it.

Venue
a state park and make it into some sort of cook out.

I'm not familiar with state parks in Jersey...

I live close to Fairmount Park

or find someone who has a big yard....that leaves me out.
