carle does a lot of good things out there, and this has been what i think is a very good season. that mistake tonight was a rough one, especially at that time of the game.

and if he is back, you'll still watch. you can't help yourself. i get it. we're all the same.

I'm overreacting, I know. But I'm not giving a non physical, mistake prone, d-man with a shot that couldn't break a pain of glass 5.5 million per year. Sorry. Not doing it. And you know what, I don't think Holmgren will either. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the Flyers will go in another direction.

It's ok if you want to go in a different direction, but why try to paint him as a half assed defenseman that can't even play hockey?

Actually, @mattbridigi pointed out that Bryz seemed to be favoring one knee in warm ups, and others are now saying that Bryz got dinged in the pregame.

I said I was overreacting. I'm just not a fan of the guy. Never have been. His mistakes are genuinely enormous, and come at the worst time. He has too many weaknesses imo to commit a big contract to. Let someone else overpay him.

those knee shots are brutal, even with the hard capped knee pads underneath. they shift. pucks still find soft spots. looked like he was moving just fine in the game.

Grossman back yes, Kubina I dont think so.

Next year, Grossmann, Coburn, Timonen, Mesz, FA acquisition (Hopefully Suter) Guss.

That would be fantastic, but I don't see it. You never know though. I just hope Pronger can live a healthy life. He's a young man, if he can't play hockey, he should be able to enjoy life, and his family.

I'm not going to kill Carle. I'm sure he knows he screwed up and he's made more good plays than bad. Let's all take a step back. This team is in the playoffs and likely going to be the 5 seed whether we lost or won. They weren't going to be winning every game. Learn from it tonight and forget it.. Can't take games off.

Carle is. #1 star. Primary assists on the Malone and Wyman goals.

He didn't play well tonight. The team gave up too many prime scoring chances. That Stamkos goal was ridiculous (hell of a shot). No reason to keep giving up breakaways when your on the PP.

Well, FWIW, Carle took blame for the loss, stand up move.

Also Homer says that Bryz isn't "injured", but Bobrovsky is starting on Thursday

Matt Carle is losing followers on twitter left and right. It's a cacophonous madhouse over there.

#firstworldproblems

Also, Bryz's knee is toast and so are the Flyers' playoff hopes. Dashed to pieces tonight, like the patience of the fickle fanbase. Double dashed.
