For a guy who won't play again this season, Meszaros seems to be getting around very well. He was in pressbox one night after the surgery and was up and about last night to the point where if you didn't know he'd recently had back surgery, you'd have thought he was one of the healthy scratches.
- bmeltzer

He looked amazing. No limp at all. I was stunned. Maybe he has great pain meds!

I for one hope that Eskin is wrong about Meszaros. But he's usually reliable when it comes to things like this.
- MJL

I think the biggest question with this is when will he be cleared to skate. Yes he's getting around good but I doubt he'll be skating until those doctors are sure he's fully healed else risk further injury. Then he's gonna need to skate for at least another week. THen he's gonna need to get his game legs back. I think that puts him at the 10 week mark at the earliest.

Not sure if you'll see this bill, but my mom works at PBP and I have worked there twice in warehouse over summer. Pretty cool, never knew you worked there.

If the Flyers were lucky enough to make it to the Stanley Cup Final and Mesazaros was capable of playing, I'm sure he'd play at less then 100% if need be. It's a chance of a life time. It's like Lappy's return to the playoffs. I think most of us knew even then that he shouldn't have played but that's what players play for. To play on such a big stage. The only player to count out right now is Pronger.

Does anyone know how long Nathan Hortan is out for and what the injury is? I've been looking into it but all i can find is reports of that injury from the Stanley Cup Final.

The Bruins look alright but not the same team as they were last season. I wouldn't count them out but I will say that we look as good as them right now.

As of march 15th:

Nathan Horton (concussion) has yet to resume skating since a setback last month, the Bruins' official site reports.

It was really weird the watch the last game the Flyers played against the Bruins. They were pretty much stick handling around us for the first half of the game. Suddenly things just morphed into our favor through the entire second half.

4v4 for 10 mins then if no one scores
3v3 for 10 mins then if no one scores
shootout

3 points for a win in regulation...... 2 points for a win in overtime....1 point for a loss in overtime

just my thought

Apparently the Flyers have the most difficult schedule in terms of winning % for the rest of the season. Pens are second. Rangers 7th.

Good.

I don't care either. Though I'd like to overtake Pittsburgh and get home-ice for round 1 and possibly round 2.

Like this article. You almost have to give Homer an A or A+ for the off-season/in-season. Bryz looks like a good deal. Richards trade looks to be even. Carter trade looks to be a steal. Adding Talbot, Jagr, Read, etc. Trading for Kubina/Grossman after losing a franchise d-man/captain. I'm not sure how this guy doesn't get praise.

at least we'd have a chance of winning being the road team, since thomas has never lost a game in philly. i think he's something like 10-0.
