That would be absolutely incredible. It would also be history im sure. Going from dead last to division title in 2 months. Keep winning and dont get comfortable.

A healthy roster is the key. The changes at the deadline also really helped us. Replacing Gaustad with Hodgson effectively created 3 scoring lines. Replacing Grags with Sulzer which seemed like a throw in on the deal. Sulzer has really impressed me. Found his niche playing alongside Ehrhoff. Very comfortable and playing at a high level.

Moving Ennis to center has created some secondary (more like primary now) scoring now that hes paired with Foligno and Stafford.

Healthy was the key.

When you listen to the way Lindy and Reiger discussed the deal and discussed Sulzer, I dont think they ever took that into consideration.

Vancouver didnt want 8 dmen on their roster. Im sure Vancouver looked at the deal as Kassian and Grags for Hodgson and then we had to take Sulzer.

Sulzer has just been a solid NHL d-man for us. He's a professional hockey player. Nothing flashy, just a pro and I think he should stay in the line-up until further notice. He always makes the safe, smart play and will hit..hell, he even scored a goal.

Even if the season flames out and we lose the next 7 I can honestly see Darcy's vision here. The core has changed. You can see it on the ice. This is Myers, Ehrhoff, Ennis, Miller, Pommer and dare I say Leino, Foligno and Tropp's team soon. I've already forgotten about Goose and Kassian. We have a ton of options this summer as far as trades and draft picks go. As for the rest of this season, we're playing with house money now. Why not enjoy the ride?
