Anybody see the Duncan Keith elbow on Sedin......... very very dirty
He probably is going to get a minimum of 5 games for that one - faceto27
It was dirty and he should be suspended 3 games for it.
But sedin did elbow him earlier in the game....soooo. |

If you are a true and loyal Leaf Fan you would be pulling for as many loses as possible. I'll be cheering For Long Island, Mtl, Carolina, Anaheim, Minny and every other garbage team to do better than the Leafs the rest of the Way. I 100% think that if the Leafs can Hold onto a Lottery pick (3-5th) They will swing it to CBJ for the #1 Overall pick. CBJ have a horrible history with drafting Ruskies, and would probably prefer to Pick up a Stud Dman
To CBJ: 2012 1st, Kulimen, Kadri
To Toronto: 2012 1st overall pick - billyberg10
If the leafs get a top 5 pick...no way it cost that much to trade up. |

Even if it meant Getzlaf? |

Question How much better is Yakupov, than Grigs and Gally?
Like is he leaps and bounds? Is it like the Leafs need to draft a Center... unless they can land Yakupov? or is it The Leafs just need draft a (frank)ing center? |

They wont stay in the top 5 for long.
Besides Burke is trading our 1st for Nash....so who cares where we end up.
- Fakepartofme
Rash for Nash.
As in I would do something so violent it would give me a rash if we trade our pick for Nash. |

Leafs need a center....but Yakupov now has a soft head...known the leafs luck, they draft him (if they trade up), he takes one hit in pre-season and he's done.
But I wouldn't say its leaps and bounds. |

After the season Getzlaf has had....we'd be buying low on him, but paying high. Lots of risk right now unless the price for him drops. |

I stopped liking shows cause they kept getting cancelled after 1-2.5 seasons.
Clone High, Arrested Development, Flight of the conchords (although it was cause they couldnt think of any new ideas) |

Brendan Gaunce or Radek Faksa....two very good choices! Forget those highend flashy guys, these two are hard working players with offensive skills. |

Who are you going to hand it in to?
What if he gets Suter?
LOL
Just kidding, ya if it's in the top 5, he better hang onto it....outside of the top 5....do what he wants.
I'm still on board with trading schenn and our 1st for Eberle from a couple of blogs ago. - Fakepartofme
I will walk into Burkes office and hand it right to the man himself and say Good day!
He will try to ask me what its all about, and I will interrupt him and say.. I said good day!

I love the Conchords, also loved that the show got great ratings...after it got (frank)ing cancelled. Why does that always seem to happen? |

Right now, our focus has to be getting players with the best possible offensive skill. We need potential 70-80+ players, not hard working 50 point players. Grabovski proved that type of player can be had for a 2nd rounder. We need high-end skill. |

Leafs trade their #3-5th overall pick for 2 lower 1st round picks? Take Gaunce 10th overall and Andrei Vasilevski? 25th? |

Those would be fine consolation prizes if we win our way out of the top 5. But high end talent is whats needed to go forward. |

my personal choice
18 years old.. well over 6 feet, and already 215 lbs
loves to drive the net.. pretty much the embodiment of everything the leafs are missing in the forward core |
