Why? We never developed Reimer in the AHL. He never even had a full season's workload between the AHL/NHL.

yea, he only worked his way up from the ECHL to the AHL, took over the starting job last year and got his shot with the leafs and went on a run. guess he has that characteristic called determination. wait for next season. he'll be so disappointed in his play this year he will come back even stronger next season

Then don't dump him. Keep him for all I care.

As long as that vet is a pure #1 that can play 65 - 70 games and has a history of putting up great numbers year after year then I'm completely fine with sitting Reimer on the bench where he can't do too much damage.

reimer put up good numbers in 2010/2011, and his follow up season was interrupted by a serious injury unlike lundqvist, also, he had jagr (123 pts), nylander (79 pts) and straka (76 pts), reimer had 2 60 pt players (kessel and macarthur).

Who are the top goalies right now? Miller kipper lundy rinne Howard..... All played 24 or later. Your stance that they have to be lights out before 24 is not as acurate as you make it out as. Goalies at or over 24 is more realistic.
