Ken,

this would make asp cry:

http://www.thepostgame.co...east-talented-sport-earth

"Now back to hockey. …. That’s a real sport that takes real talent, speed and all the things you need to be a real athlete. Now fighting is a part of hockey and has been since day one. It’s part of the game. It is what it is. I think we live in a world now where everything has been so p***y-fied. When I grew up we didn’t wear helmets when we rode our bikes. We didn’t have car seats. We didn’t have all this stuff. Now things are safer and we should be safer but let’s not go overboard. Fighting’s a part of hockey. Period."

Bang on. Remember when the UFC was just starting out? There'd be 1 show a year and I'd order it with my old man on Viewers Choice. It was great back then. Heavyweights vs lightweights. What sucked was when they'd always go on about Joyce Gracie and Ken Shamrock. Then the fight would happen and it would be 5 minutes of arm bars and head locks.

yeah I remember that. they'd have them on Indian reservations. my dad had a decoder at home so 20 buddies would pile up in our basement and we'd drink cheap supermarket beer unlike _nay_...

Yeah I don't get it either. (frank)ers are tearing poop up though, eh? I wonder if they might fight for that extra wild card or if that's still a year or 2 away?

One more starting arm, and a solid DH, would do it. But we'll see, they got the potential, just maybe still to young.

I didn't get a decoder until later on in the 90s. (frank) I remember we all pitched in one weekend and got Tyson's comeback fight. Well worth the 50 bucks.

Roy is likely to be named coach, I don't like Groulx and don't know Tourigny enough. Damphousse would be a good choice IMO. Brisebois isn't bad and Savard...well...

A Roy-Damphousse tandem would please me. Damphousse as Jim Nill's AGM would be really nice. I don't really care about the rest.

Those last 30 minutes (that I have followed with the help of 2-3 tweets) have been more interesting than the whole campaign.

I just don't know what to think anymore.

(except for Faksa, I'm still high on Faksa, Ken)

Roy and Damphousse? Why not.
