Not really the best junior squad ever, there were some unbelievable squads in the 80s and 90s. In recent times, the Crosby Océanic squad was extremely good.

I think there'll be some changes, 1 of the 3 centers is gone and I wouldn't be surprised to see Moen and White gone as well. If it doesn't change I can see a guy like Cole asking for a trade.

Moen they said was not available because he was being re-signed, same goes for Darche.

Only Plek has any value but why would you trade a 60+ (not this year obviously) point second line center who is one of the top PKers in the league?

White's pretty easily replaced as is Staubitz. Just because they want to resign Moen doesn't mean it will happen. I don't like the idea of trading Pleks either but to continue with Pleks, DD and Eller as top 3 Cs is ridiculous. I'm saying that if they don't change it up they will be in the same boat next year as this year. The only saving grace could be a solid overhaul of the D.

This was my point actually. I predict mediocrity next year. Battle for 7th provided Markov is healhty.

Staubitz, as good as he has been at his job, is a marginal NHLer. White is a good 4th liner who plays PK and won't cost more than 700k. Sure there are tons of them out there (Begin, Kosto, Metro etc in recent history) I just dont see why they get rid of him to bring in an unknown to do the same for the same amount
