Howie Morenz C, Lorne Chabot G and Marty Burke D were traded by GM Leo Dandurand to the Chicago Blackhawks for Lionel Conacher C, Leroy Goldsworthy RW and Roger Jenkins D

Halak is better than Chabot.

Our team with halak would be very much different.
Maybe a superstar forward or defensmen, Either way halak or price, they are both good goalies.

Halak trade was bad, BUT ONLY if the defenseman coming up the pipeline do not turn out.

- gillings

our team with Halak would have meant no Plekanec. Halak was RFA with rights to arbitration, and you can bet your house he would have got more here than in St-Louis with the way we get pillaged by governments with taxes.

And that just shows you HOW MUCH THEY CARE, seats are full. Who cares. WOO GOLFING.

I think I might give my passion to a team like detroit who actually looks to win..

Halak was the best thing that happened to this team, Same with the style they tried to employ when they got gomez gionta and cammy, pass pass goal.

Unlike the current team where they lose the puck or just try it themselves.

Halak was the best thing that happened to this team. And it was the first trade in the history of hockey that obviously began in 2008 in your head. (frank) off, Fefan.

Bottom line is, Price or Halak, this team sucks and not one of them would make them a contender...

With Halak we could focus on training Price as our big 1st line center.
