I guess you could go back a few years and remember the Bruins losing to the Flyers in the playoffs. But I am glad that you could take the Canadiens screwing up getting a lottery pick tonight in stride and focus on the Leafs terrible 2nd half.

I'm indifferent to the draft, pretty much knew they'd get a top 5ish after the first 10 games. So its easier for me to watch them juggle it around...I couldn't imagine the soul crushing disappointment that Leaf fans must have experienced and so soon after Christmas. No justice to it really, its a blessing that the Leafs have a 1st round this year though.

The slide the Leafs had doesn't really bother me, besides finishing at the bottom is probably better for them they get a good prospect opposed to finishing 7th or 8th and getting killed in 4 or 5 game and getting a middle of the pack pick. And I don't think you would have known that Montreal would have a top 5 pick so early even with the poor start.

Sad how a team just gets used to not making the playoffs. No matter how well they start, golf season seems to have the stronger pull.

Brings tears to my eyes just talking about it.

Impressive how they were able to man up despite the odds and win that game tonight. Total gut check time for the blue and white.

Well you can't resist to watch your team claw their way out of the basement and make the end of the season mean something.
