A very, sometimes exceptionally, rude person mostly found in forums. These persons will use foul language against persons who might have mispelled a word or have another oppion.

Flamers will usually go after new people or people who their know acts badly, examples: noobs. This is true in general, but a flamer will execute his or hers bad temper at anyone at any day.

I don't care much for you taking price over halak 10 out of 10, But we would have gotten a star plus a 1st round pick, would have had a good goalie in halak and still would have had ALL of the YOUNG GUYS on defense coming up PLUS another first round pick from trading price.

Bad trade if you ask me, and BTW price and montreal HAVENT even come to terms yet. That says alot.

Please name the last goalie who shat the bed, lost his starting job and showed the league in the process that his confidence was gone, and was then traded for a star and a 1st rd pick.

I'll wait.

It's not like the habs are known to come to terms with their players during the season.

And considering how soon they will be on the golf course, there's plenty of time left.

- Pecafan Fan

Price said he wants to be signed before the Worlds. In case of injury. Smart guy.

He'll get his big contract, I am not worried. Not even 2 weeks after the season he'll be signed long term.

And that just shows you HOW MUCH THEY CARE, seats are full. Who cares. WOO GOLFING.

I think I might give my passion to a team like detroit who actually looks to win..

Halak was the best thing that happened to this team, Same with the style they tried to employ when they got gomez gionta and cammy, pass pass goal.

Unlike the current team where they lose the puck or just try it themselves.

Thank you.

Goalie value is not there. Varlamov for a 1st and 2nd was a terrible trade. Colorado needed a goalie so they overpaid. The summer of 2010 there were UFA goalies galore.

Also Philly refused Halak for a 2nd in 2009. Value is usually low on goalies.

Our team with halak would be very much different.
Maybe a superstar forward or defensmen, Either way halak or price, they are both good goalies.

Halak trade was bad, BUT ONLY if the defenseman coming up the pipeline do not turn out.

- gillings

I don't think there is a gm in the league that would take Halak over Price

The team was better then, but not because Price wasn't starting. You put the same team, with Price now, and this team is making the playoffs. No question.

I am sure Roy could have fetched a better return than that. But then again, look at the Luongo trade. Ugh.

Flamers.

Think of the return you could have had on PRICE.

You trade a good goalie that stole so much and is very good.

And get lars eller, who has been a good 3rd liner at best.

For price the price would have been way higher, we could have one of the best defensmen in the league and a good draft pick plus lars eller.

When tinordi and MR B and those other blueliners like dietz and company come up, ( if they do cause YA NEVER KNOW ) and are bad? Would you rather have kept price over halak considering the return?????????

- gillings

Ok, so every GM in the league preferred Price and would have given more for him, but Habs were idiots for thinking the same way. Gotcha.

BECAUSE PRICE IS A BETTER GOALIE THAN HALAK.

2010 TEAM WHICH MADE THE PLAYOFFS WITH HALAK + 2012 VERSION OF CAREY PRICE = PLAYOFF TEAM.
