Yeah......no.

You want the best player on the board....you better pay. NOBODY wants Komi....not even the Leafs.

Schenn is a young elite shutdown defenceman who scouts compared to Scott Stevens. He is easily worth the first overall. I mean (frank), it's a big risk trading a proven elite player for a potential bust.

This might not be true. Maybe it's the Leafs fault there are still 8 or so teams that are around that shouldn't be.

Ya punish a hit to the head with 50 games if the person has no prior history and increase from there. And will see if all these (frank)ing Richard munchers keep whining.

That guy is as big of a Yotes fan as you are a Bruins fan. He took the gig in hopes that Yote's Diva would be impressed. Instead she'd rather eat several cakes ala Rick's wife.

(frank) reading the comments on TSN you'd think Keith killed Sedin.

So five games is all you get for taking out a star on a team.
Time to dress a minor league tough guy I guess. Watch your backs Hawks.

No one will be happy with this but I take some comfort that even though he is a star in the league, indeed, a former Norris winner, it shows that discipline is meted out to all regardless of their cachet. Given the historic head scratching regarding severity of punishment for clearly suspendable actions, the cynic in me can't help but wonder what the punishment would have been had he been a journeyman fourth liner taking a run at a former Hart trophy winner...just saying...

So Keith gets a 5 game rest before the playoffs and Sedin suffers for the rest of his life seems fair. Note to all teams if you need to get rid of a star player in the first game of a series stick your elbow out seems to be what players do. Just do not try and get him along the boards that could mean 20 games.

Given the intent that of the incident and all, it doesnt seem like enough really. This might be Crosby/Savard all over again. But I guess a first timer too. I wish I could see Shanahan explanation

Also those winners think it's just a conspiracy and they only gave Keith five games so he can rest for the playoffs.

Wasn't it you who posted the quote from some team doctor that he feard Sedin suffered brain damage?

How about that MP who decided to chime in and act like it's a government issue?

Sorry for the double quote. But is there anything worse on internet messages than "just saying"? Like it's the end all and so brilliantly played that people will blow their minds when the read it. It's up there with "nuff said"
