well of course!

So here we are.

He goes after the guy, armed with a gun, screams for help, shoots the guy.

- Pecafan Fan

Pretty sure he shot 1st and screamed for help later, once he came out of superhero mode long enough to realize what he had done, not sure he wanted the guy dieing as a result of his stupidity, and the charges an such that would result from it, he wanted that ambulance there yesterday, so yeah he screamed for help alright, help me get outta this mess i just created by trying to be a (frank)in' hero. All speculation of course.

Allowed? It's their constitutional right.

And no one ever thought THAT might be the problem?

Constitutional right to carry a gun? What is this? 19th century? Civil war or something? WTF.

Death penalty is dumb however he should be arrested and judged. This is too tragic (and suspicious) an event to go unjudged.
- PRICEless

Unfortunately, these aren't the bases for either arresting or judging (assuming you mean trying) anyone in this country.

It's not a civil war, it's neighborhood surveillance.

The self-defense claim is shaky at best and without that claim it becomes an homicide, how is that not grounds for an arrest and trial?

The constitution in this country is not just a piece of paper. It means a lot more than that to many people, and the second amendment is most meaningful down south.

I dont have the same faith in the system as Desi seems to have, i believe somehow they will manage to (frank) this entire case up royally. How yet, is to be determined.

It's a homicide with or without the self-defense claim. Again, words like "shaky" don't amount to probable cause for arrest without more.

Items in this document may only be re-written and changed if it in fact affects homeland security, or whatever tale need be telling on any certain day of the week.

If people in the states want guns for protection, they should carry shotguns in their homes instead of handguns...

- less accidents then with handguns
- more of a crime deterrent
- tougher to conceal and use in crimes

BTW, I'm not saying "fry the (frank)er".

I'm just baffled that people are allowed to carry guns around as if it was... skittles... or iced tea.

I get that, i'm aware of the US' history and how it led to their constitution but its clearly out-dated and should be reviewed. Why would the people of the US let emotionality take over rationality? They dont NEED a gun, they just feel like they do.

PS: Yes, i get that being rational isnt exactly popular these days.

What i meant by homicide is that it'd go from being a justified (self defense) homicide to being a criminal one.

What evidence is there that it was CLEARLY self defense, anyway?
