For all the people who jumped all over Todd Bertuzzi, this is the same situation. Sedin didn't have the puck and didn't see Keith coming (he was looking up). He was blindsided with a shot directly to the head. The only different is that Moore was carried off the ice on a stretcher. Daniel Sedin might be out for months -- we just don't know.
It's time for the league to stop punishing based on the outcome of a play, and start punishing based on intentions and actions. To me this is a minimum 10-20 game suspension.
