"The Montreal Canadiens have scored 191 goals this season, and they sit in 15th place in the Eastern Conference.

In the West, the St. Louis Blues have hit the 100-point mark to lead the conference. They've scored 192 goals. The difference being, they've allowed 60 less than the Canadiens have this season" - ENGELS

Can you say goaltending????

I have always disliked price and his goaltending, he has easily the best skill set with easily the worst heart.

IMO.

How many times has montreal blown a easy win in the third period this year, 20?

Think of where they could have been if they didn't collapse every single game.

Damn right. The system they play and the absolutely pathetic defensive zone coverage have nothing to do with it.

nothing.

didn't you hear? price is too busy riding horses and listening to country music. How dare he becomes a mediocre NHL goalie.

Yes. That's all Carey Price as well.

Those hard-luck defencemen just can't catch a break with him in net...

Since when did I say ANYTHING about it ALL being about price, I simply did not give my opinion on the defense and you guys automatically assume I think the defense was good, or even somewhat better than price.

You know what made me smile last night?

Seeing Cunneyworth pull out his goalie with 3:30 to play in the third period, down 3 goals.

- Pecafan Fan

That's probably why Ruff called a timeout with 1:30 remaining

yes, they'd be in a better position. let's blame carey price for that. he's so bad and should be the backup.

As much as I don't want to blame this cluster(frank) of a season on him, Price played good enough to avoid being blownout every other night, but rarely good enough to steal a game.

If the defence was halfway decent, you wouldn't be concerned about Price.

Your opinions stopped being relevant as soon as you said Price was a bad goalie with no heart.

that's the problem with this team...if the goalie doesn't steal the game, they lose...this year is even worse, if the goalie doesn't steal the first 2 periods they are out of it.

Bryz had tons of softies, i cant deny that

but as soon as they acquired some actual NHL dmen in Grossman and Kubina.. and tightened up their play in their own zone the guy wins First Star of the Week 2 weeks in a row

I understand what you're saying, but you can't expect the guy to steal games with the team he has in front of him. The 2010 playoff run with Halak, that team, was much better than the one we have today.

Halak would have stolen AT LEAST 4 more games than price, and that would have put us in a much better spot. Oh wait...

Last night, it's not like the Sabres defense was anything out of this world.
Yet, Miller stopped everything.
