Or maybe the gov't should be less involved and people take some responsibility and use RESPs and RRSPs more.

It's all about your values in life really.

Will you pay for everyone and risk that some of it is wasted on students who will study for a while and be lazy or would you rather risk losing the poorer students who could contribute more to the society.

The Canadiens in 1986 were the last team to win the Stanley Cup without making at least one trade during the regular season. Also played 11 rookies.

Do u remember QP?

The smart phones and the data plans, the lattes, the partying etc.

Cut out ONE saturday night a month, TADA hike paid.

Those damn clichés

The students want to still have the same life quality while studying.

And please don't compare it to 20+ years back, times have changed.

He told me he'd be a the game tonight too, so I thought maybe we could have a beer together during the intermission or something.

Of course, I'd have to pay the beer... you know, studying costs a lot of money.

I'll be at the game, so they can win this one. Then after that, I wouldn't mind if they go in a super fun happy slide.

Look there are plenty of options for less advantaged individuals to succeed and if they really are gifted they'll have their student loans paid off in no time, assuming they don't get scholarships and burseries negating any loans at all. Basically quit your (frank)ing whining take some responsibility and get to work.

I mean, it gets kinda unfair, when an average student who has little money can't go to university while the bad student who comes from a wealthy family can afford it.

You lose some of these because they know they might not succeed, and would rather have a less educated job(which is not a bad thing just to make it clear). But maybe they could contribute more to the society while going at the university.

I want an educated province, and losing those students because they frozed the fees for a few years in a situation where there will be a lack of Human Ressources in the next 20 or so years, could be crucial for the survival of this very province.

Oh (frank)ing cry me a river...its so unfair. Subsidize me wah wah wah. If you can't afford it, get a job, go to night school or online, save some dough and go back at it. I'm sick of the entitlement that your age group feels right now.
