Well, it was predictable since one is at the top of the league with Stanley Cup aspirations while the other one is on a bottom feeding team.
Now, that debate would have never occurred last season since the Blues missed the playoffs and were 9 points behind the habs. While Jaroslav Halak was behind Price by almost 10 spots in every statistical category (or even more).
But let's not bring that up now. - Pecafan Fan
Not to mention that Elliott has stats as good as Halak.

All I know is that it's not as important as the Masterton Trophy. |

his shoulder surgery after the season sure didn't helped.
For the rest, he has played well on the PK this season, I think he'll slowly become a Plekanec. The thing they didn't do properly is that they should have dropped him in Hamilton the first season he was here and let him play top minutes down there.
Same thing with Leblanc, I wish they didn't call him up at all this season. Let him develop in the AHL. The guy played in 6 different leagues in 5 years (midget AAA, USHL, NCAA, QJMHL, AHL and NHL), he needs stability.
Like Dubé was saying last night, the habs current depth is so thin, they are using guys that aren't ready for the NHL and ruining their development. - stinger67
Bah it's not like Hamilton is a welcoming place right now for youngsters to flourish.
At least he'd be away from the media attention, which has been quite easy on him so far. |
