Do the Habs still own their 2nd rounder this year? Will probably be 33nd overall, a chance for another solid prospect that slipped out of the 1st round. |

Not sure I agree about Eller, but I definitely do for Leblanc.
But now it's on the players (Eller and Leblanc) to identify what they need to do to get better and do it. I don't think they can rely on the current coaching staff for this, but once the new staff is in place they might be able to pick their brains... - number_23
Monsieur Gauthier and Gainey throwing around messieurs draft picks didn't really helped the situation they are in right now...I'm really looking forward to next season's camp, when a few of the kids coming in will make their pro debut and I'll be disappointed. |

There's been a lack of leadership and accountability at the top for some time now. I hope the new regime shows some of that...and also give us a semblance of a plan that they will follow...something like "we have a young team, and are forced to develop some of our young players in the NHL...it might be hard some nights, and errors will be made...but the important thing is to learn from and correct these mistakes. Also, we will work on our play WITH the puck...it's nice and all to be good without the puck, but I'd prefer to be good with it."

Yeah, puck possession and dump&change don't go hand-in-hand.
