Well, Maple Leaf fans are saying it is a weak draft compared to some of the drafts in which they picked in the top ten, so what is to be excited about?

yeah, I get that education is important, but if I was in his shoes, I'd leave the NCAA and play professionnal as soon as possible.

well, he said that he wanted to redeem himself after a bad season there, and he did. I also know he wanted to win the frozen four with UND and that's no longer possible...only thing that would stop him from making the jump would be wanting to have a last chance at it.

Although the difference is that Leblanc can go back to Harvard at anytime under Harvard "rule" that allows it. Not sure about the other kids college and what it allows...nor if he would be able to attend minus the sporting scholarship...

Out side of the top 10 it is weak. Even Bob MacKenzie says so. Sounds sort of like your reaching.
