Well, it was predictable since one is at the top of the league with Stanley Cup aspirations while the other one is on a bottom feeding team.
Now, that debate would have never occurred last season since the Blues missed the playoffs and were 9 points behind the habs. While Jaroslav Halak was behind Price by almost 10 spots in every statistical category (or even more).
But let's not bring that up now. - Pecafan Fan

Anyway Eller's 4 goals and Schultz's physical play largely compesate. |

Hey Howie, you often fly to MTL? If so, from where (which airport)?
Looking for a direct flight...seems like none from Ottawa...so looking at a MTL departure.

And that just shows you HOW MUCH THEY CARE, seats are full. Who cares. WOO GOLFING.
I think I might give my passion to a team like detroit who actually looks to win..
Halak was the best thing that happened to this team, Same with the style they tried to employ when they got gomez gionta and cammy, pass pass goal.
Unlike the current team where they lose the puck or just try it themselves. - gillings
I think what you are trying to say is that if they traded Price intead they would have gotten more and still had a good goalie in Halak. Good point, but you'll never know this because it did not happen, and PG would have likely (frank)ed it up regardless
I also think that Halak has a far superior defence in front of him than Price does. If you are comparing the success of the two teams.
Price is one of the Habs biggest assets, if they don't commit to start building a sold d around him, he'll sign short term and be gone, I wouldn't blame him either.

4 in ONE game!
I hope Eller:
- stops taking useless penalties
- gets much stronger over the summer

taking nothing away from Halak...but BRIAN (frank)ING ELLIOT is putting up similar numbers for that team... |
