It's encouraging to see Bryzgalov playing as well as he has. The overall team defense is better, as well. The key is, they have to get all of it working together. The drop passes and turnovers at their own blueline is simply inexcusable. Guys like Giroux need to stop passing up open shots. A good hard shot that creates a rebound opportunity can be better than a pass across to a cutting winger.

This year I took a new approach to my superstitions. No clothes superstitions whatsoever. But, because I lack self-discipline, I like to dabble in avatar and location changes. I have that going for me, which is perilous.

the top line, while being the only one scoring for the most part, is still too fancy with the puck, and turning it over in dangerous areas or killing a cycle with a low-percentage pass way too much for my liking.

It's been an ongoing problem for this team regardless of the personnel or who the Coach is.

In hindsight, they should have yielded to Quebec's initial demand to include Rod Brind'Amour in the trade package (which would have been Brind'Amour, Butsayev (instead of Ricci), Duchesne, Hextall and the same picks and cash). The Flyers would then have had both Lindros and Forsberg. Quebec only backed Brind'Amour and Butsayev when the Flyers offered Ricci and Forsberg in their final offer.

They may have to trade him to fill in the needs. Their going to struggle on offense without Utley and Howard. Polanco is still hurting with his hand. Brown is one of the only prospects (trade chip) they have. I dont want to trade him but its something Amaro may have to consider at some point. Will see where they are in the standings after a couple months and take it from there.
