I had a dream Pronger came back for the playoffs, much to the chagrin of the entire Eastern Conference. No one saw this at all because management told him to go away, shutting him down for the entire season. Then out of the blue, and out of the eye of the media, he began skating in secret--only to come back for game one of the ECQFs against the Pens.

Also, he now has laser vision, which it turns out is technically NOT against the NHL rules (yet).

It makes me wish he was back. In the dream something just didn't add up. Lappy took a slapshot twice in the head and he came back and played (when he really shouldn't have), and does skate from time to time. Pronger gets hit in the eye and is suffering much worse it seems.

But really, wouldn't it be the shock of the decade if Pronger just appeared and played? How much of a boost would that be to this team?

Just read before you submit. And use editors for the web stuff. And include fact checking in some editorial layer. I know a copyeditor at the Inky and sometimes he used to get stuck with sports (he's not a sports guy). So it isn't typically on the copyeditor's plate to factcheck.

My comp sucks.. I knew it because my and my old man were talking about him last night.. He and my uncle share the same age/ birthday.

Too bad it took me a solid 20 minutes (sarcasm) for my computer to bring my email up!!
