Friggin love that guy. One of the best defenseman in the league imo. He can do it all.
- stveshdy

I'm really worried about the feasability of keeping him, not sure we can add another contract like the one he's going to be looking for. Plus with Despres and Morrow on the way Shero might decide the money will be better spent elsewhere. I really hope not though, he's integral.

It sucks... I'm not going to lie. That spineless Zajac still isn't playing yet, and he had a partial tear, 7 months ago.
- PLindbergh31

It's interesting you've torn both of them. My ex tore his right playing college football then tore his left playing pickup basketball in his 40s.

Yeah. They have to deal with Crosby's contract after next season.

Sat on Walt Whitman Bridge to listen to traffic on KYW three times. Never mentioned the bridge once.

If I'm Shero, I'm doing what it takes to keep Letang. That kind of talent on the blue line is rather difficult to replace.

Yea I totally agree. It will depend on 2 factoers- what the cap goes up to and what Crosby is going to take. Unless the cap goes up significantly I just think it will be tough to ice a team when almost $40 mill is needed for 6 players.

Boring and getting points (most games). The offense will return. It's not like these guys all suddenly forgot how to score.

Loved the "Good report" line, too.
- tangent_man

Do they save this stuff on CSN or elsewhere? I miss this most nights because a) I am on my way home from the game or b) my wife cannot stand Al Morganti, John Boruk, Michael Barkann, or whatever other host that has been crucifying Bryz all season so we I never get to watch the postgame.

Wow.

Flyers Eric ‏ @ericsuperfan

The last time the Flyers won a shootout at home was vs the Rangers in game #82 of the 09-10 season.

Just wow.

i don't know, i think maybe they have. it seems they're playing a more cautious, defensive style game from start to finish and not being as aggressive. they look different. it doesn't help that their execution leaves much to be desired when they do get chances.
