Not fair to expect Couturier playing on the 4th line to be a consistent goal scorer at 19. His primary role is to play against other top lines, as well as killing penalties. He's been far better than I ever anticipated in his first season. Kid is going to be a hell of a player. He already is.

The way Bryzgalov is playing he can definitely keep them in games, but playing against Pitt, or the NYR they have to generate offense to win. It would be near impossible beating the Penguins in 2-1, or 1-0 games.

True that. Even when our defense is good and Bryzgalov's going strong, a team like the Pens will still put up a couple goals.

You never know. Each series is different. I think the Flyers offense will do what it has to when playoffs come around. I'm more concerned with the special teams during the playoffs cause thats were games are won imo.

Need to pin them into their own zones to keep them out of ours. If the Flyers don't sustain offensive pressure, that means the puck is in the defensive zone, and no matter how good Bryz is playing, that means there'll be goals against.

They've got time to figure out how to keep playing tight defensively and start bringing the offense back.

This probably should be a 0-0 game. The Flyers allowed another silly early goal at the start of the game and the Caps goalie left his net to try and beat Giroux. I don't know what he was thinking.
