Tore my achilles at work 8 days ago. Second time, 8 years ago I tore the one in my right foot, this time its the left foot. So I will be pushing a pencil for the next 6 months, that's what the doctors say, but I will talk my way out on the road before that. The rehab in the beginning stages is extremely painful.

The biggest immediate hole it opened was on defense. Duchesne was their best defenseman and Huffman was coming off a really solid year. Losing those two left a gaping hole on defense, with two inexperienced goalies and not a ton of depth up front.

Had they kept what they traded and added a couple defensemen...Still, Lindros was a beast when he was a Flyer.

Hindsight is great. I am not saying the flyers should have or shouldn't have traded for Lindros. He was a great player. But, Colorado won two cups.

Wow Carle needs to finish that chance. Flyers need to I love their defense more in the offensive zone. They used to involve the D way more in the cycle game. They can't get poop going. And voracek is so freaking frustrating sometimes

Do you think Suter finishes it?

Puck was just a little out in front of him, and he steered it wide. But as we read apparently a 7 year old would of scored there. It always amazes me when a player is solid game in and game out all Season long. And he's never given any credit by his detractors. Not a whisper. But one play doesn't go his way, and out comes the criticism. Here's what I know, it wasn't a slam dunk. If it was, it would have been in the net.

The real story of the game is 12 giveaways for the FLyers to 1 for the Caps. Amazing it's only 1-1. But Bryzgalov is again the best player for the Flyers.

Amazing that the flyers are getting outplayed at home again when they clearly need points.

The only time they have taken a lead in a game in the last 20 games, are the Bryzgalov shutouts. Recipe for a quick playoff exit, playing from behind constantly.

I hate Ovechkin. Not that it has anything to do with what you posted.

I don't know. I do know the flyers are damn lucky to have this game tied. Best way to beat the flyers? Sit back and clog the middle. Wait for the mistake and counterattack.

Not a big ice cream fan, my fiance is out getting me a Rita's Italian ice right now... I'm digging the sympathy...

I told her I'm going to have to limp down the aisle like half a cripple at the wedding, she looked like she wanted to cry... She said it will ruin the wedding video.

I do, too, but he does know how to dent twine and didn't do it with a lot of net to shoot at himself

I've read this blog for years, and I finally have to chime in on Matt Carle. He makes too many bone-head decisions. And watching him play defense makes me wonder if he has any "hockey IQ". I really hope the Flyers do not extend his contract.

It sucks... I'm not going to lie. That spineless Zajac still isn't playing yet, and he had a partial tear, 7 months ago.
