I guess "IF" you have high expectations for JvR being young and all.

Sorry I missed your post.

I do have high expectation for JvR. In fact up until this season Giroux and JvR have displayed outstanding chemistry together. I feel they could have done the same this season if they stuck together beyond October. If I were the coach of this team, I would have kept them together and forced chemistry upon them. Whenever JvR was a huge noticeable factor in last year's post season, Giroux was the guy setting him up. Giroux and JvR also made Arron Asham look really good on their line in the second half of JvR's rookie season. Assuming these 2 players are still here in their late 20's/early 30's, they should very well be established NHL stars.

He's looked great but he hasn't scored yet. I think he has 9 assists in the 4 games though.

As long as he's able to go from a dark room to a light one in July I'll be happy.
