Duncan should have just run him -- he would have been smarter taking a 2 minute boarding penalty instead of getting the elbow up. Dumb play, clearly he let his emotions get the best of him.

Can't believe the Hawks are on this incredible run without Toews. And did you get to see Kane at the end - -he looked like he was taking 19's place as the team was coming off the ice. Clearly, he smells playoff hockey and he, Hoss and Bruno are working pretty darn well together.

Daniel's was so clearly a shoulder. They showed it over and over on TSN. Keith's was a blatant elbow to the head with the puck nowhere near and it was out of retribution. Look at the done elbow last night. It got 3 games. This was even worse.

If keith gets suspended then do they look at sedins cheap hit?

Yep, no question Duncs didn't avenge the head shot in a smart way and he'll pay a big price for that. These two points are even bigger when you consider we will be without Keith for at least a few games.

And yes, to think we're rolling like this without Captain Fantastic is really something.

Props to C2 for rebounding with a stellar and very clutch performance.

Sedin went at Dunc's head first so he should get some games too. Regardless he probably has a case of the mashed potatoe brains now anyway so they'll both miss time.

So a choir boy who has never had any previous problems and has a been a model citizen will get the same 5 games Bourque got who was suspended twice before and had a similar hit on backstrom or he;ll get more then the 3 Doan got another previous suspendee and has received multiple fines.

We've seen dozens of hits like Sedins go without anything this year. I hope he does get suspended to send a message. But if he gets suspended then I'd be worried if I were you at how long Keith would be suspended for.

Shoulder or elbow - Sedin targeted Keith's head with as late a hit as Keith was.

Two games each.

Jeez - for a Penguin fan, with Crosby just back, one would think - hope - you'd want to stop /punish all hits to the head.

It was a bad hit but you cant disregard why it happened. Thats being childish also. Keith has been a model player and very rarely does anything to hurt other players. Seeing the circumstance He should not sit for 5 games thats crazy.
