Yep, I'm going to and bringing as many people as I can. I always feel like there's not much we can do about the fate of the Isles, but one small thing we can do is pack this place out for this game to show there would be support for the team if they move locally.

Spokane is still in the playoffs, but maybe if they make a reasonably early exit he can make it there next year. If not, then definitely next season

Complain about the defense all you want, and I'm not suggesting it couldn't have been a hell of a lot better but consider this: The Islanders are currently 13 points behind 7th place Ottawa. They have given up 218 goals, only 4 more than the Senators but have scored 174 goals, 47 fewer. Again, I know the Islanders current defense is terrible, but where would this team be if they had scored, say, even 25 - 30 more goals?

And if the goaltenders gave up 25-30 less goals they'd be in a better place too. But realistically the "d" was morbid this year. The worst group on the team. The collective plus/minus and point totals from the "d" are terrible.

Yeah, I'm the guy that feels they should stay in Nassau and that Wang should be trying to find a way to pay for and own the arena himself but since I know that won't happen, I'd rather see them in Brooklyn over Queens. jmo

Really looking forward to seeing how the Barclays looks for an NHL game. When the games over I'm walking all over to get a look at how the sightlines are from everywhere, security is gonna have to chase me outta there.

As am I. The kids size bothers me but hey nothings stopping him from one day becoming a player like Brian Campbell even thou he plays a more aggressive game than BC.

Hope he keeps playing like he has been and keeps developing well next season in Bridgeport. a few of the people I've talked to about the kid said he was gonna be a good late bloomer to have and he has some amazing hockey sense. I also remember reading about how the red wings prospect camp was a great experience for him (how wouldn't it be for any kid) just hope he feels the same way after getting a taste of the Wang circus
