Lilja does just fine moving up on the play and reading it. He's made a number of big hits stepping up on the play. I'd rather have a veteran experienced defender in the 6th spot.

Due to the majority of the games left are home games, they sent Gustafsson down to get some playing time. I feel they favor the veteran and so do I.

Not me. I want him thrown into the fire to see what we really have. Im still not treating this playoffs as a cup run. They will be setup for that starting next year. I want to see his game in the playoffs and see if he holds up

Once youre in the playoffs, you have to do everything you can to win. What's the point of seeing how it goes by throwing a rookie into the fire? Every team has a chance once you're in.

I'm much more interested in winning a few rounds than seeing how Gus does in a playoff game..

I, too, would rather see Gusty than Lilja but for a different reason. He has looked good, most times, with Timonen. I think he brings more to the team than Lilja at this point. However, I don't think it (the "more" I mention) is such a huge gap so as to doom the team if Lilja plays instead of Gustafsson.
