Honestly in my opinion his value has really dropped. It would be better to keep him another year and see if he plays a little better behind this more defensively sound team...

He is good at reading the play while in the offensive zone. He pinches at the blue line negating a rush before it even starts. Whereas lilja can't get there many times and is on his heels. Speed I suppose is what trying to say. I'd like to see him in the playoffs.
Lilja does just fine moving up on the play and reading it. He's made a number of big hits stepping up on the play. I'd rather have a veteran experienced defender in the 6th spot.
Due to the majority of the games left are home games, they sent Gustafsson down to get some playing time. I feel they favor the veteran and so do I.
