Lucky you. Wildwood is torn up with construction. Pain in the ass to get anywhere in town.
- Jsaquella

I bet. My wife wanted to take another day trip this past weekend, only this time M4 went with us. We went to Sea Isle, then Stone Harbor, then Wildwood. Wildwood has really changed since my last time there (4 years or so). I got to see some of that construction on the way out of town. North Wildwood, coming in from Stone Harbor, was a piece of cake. I thought I'd find a nice place to eat in WW like we did in SH, but found nothing, so we hit the Applebee's on Ocean Heights Ave off Rt. 9. I guess that's Mays Landing? Got to see the OT & Gimmick of the Bruins game.

Grossmann has been arguably their best defensive defenseman since he's been here. It would make zero sense to put him on the 3rd pair. Grossmann is clearly better then Kubina. Watching the game, it's obvious that although Gustafsson shows some promise, he's not one of the best 6 defenseman at this point.
- MJL

Obviously.

Didn't like Gustafsson paired with Carle at all.

Same. Obviously.

Yeah that's Mays landing...most of the stuff in Wildwood isn't open yet, will be in the next few days. The best year round place in town is Alfie's

Not only has Grossmann been better, he's also stayed healthy. He did a fantastic job against Malkin on Sunday and has been solid as a rock since arriving from Dallas.

I wasn't a fan of the Gus & Carle pair, either.

Where's Alfie's? I used to go to the diner in N. Wildwood on New Jersey(?), but we weren't in the mood for diner fare.

Perhaps its splitting hairs, but I love what Kubina brought to the Flyers pre-injury. We'll see if he gets all the way back. Thinking about it now Carle and Gusty did get worn down a bit as they were facing other teams top lines. If they were deployed as the 3rd pairing they'd be fine.

Lets get on a different topic....who would everyone rather see first round? Rangers or Penguins? I still don't know my answer and may need til the last week to decide.

Rangers.

King will be hard to beat but if its possible I'd like to avoid Crosby/Malkin for 7 games.

Call me overconfident if you will, but I think the Flyers have a decent shot at beating either one.

Carle leads all Flyers in average ice time per game. Carle on the 3rd pair is also not going to happen.

I think your on to something. The Fyers have shown they can play with the Pens all year and have had success getting under their skin. I want to see the Pens. To me this rivalry becomes the best in the league if the flyers can win a playoff series against them
