Lupul/Kessel obviously don't need a number 1 center, just a guy with some defensive responsibility and faceoff prowess.

Our offense was pretty good before the collapse.

I prefer a big time goalie over a center right now.

If we could get someone like Getzlaf, it solves a few problems

One, we get that big stud centre with defensive responsibility, plus it frees up Kessel from the likes of Chara etc.

Second, he becomes our captain....... a true captain, not the one that merely has a C on his sweater

Third, this allows us to drop Bozak down the third line
