I'm defending my opinion. No, I don't think the Leafs are as bad as some have said. People are acting like they are the absolute worst team in NHL history.
Yet none of these trolls will admit that the Leafs actually do have good pieces in place.

I was expecting to get jumped on for comparing Kessel to Stamkos.
Which I wasn't trying to do. Obviously Stamkos is one of the top 5 players in the league and Kessel isn't... but Kessel is not the problem on the Leafs

Yes I have played sports, what a stupid statement. I guess we can just wait another 3 years and maybe his confidence will come back. The guy is 30 years old, if he gets rattled this easy than he's got problems and shouldn't be a pro athlete. Fact is, he just isn't very good...now if you made this argument about Schenn it would be a different story.

Maybe cause the Trolls opinion is that the Leafs don't have good pieces in place. You defend your opinion and then try to shove it down peoples throats by saying the bolded part.

We do have good pieces, just in the wrong places.
Bozak keeps getting better, I used to think #3 center but he has flashes where you think he could be #2 easily.
Kulemin is a tough one, but he is useful because he wins a lot of battles out there. Just can't finish. He would be great on a line with 2 great scorers and his main job is to just get them the puck. Otherwise, he is easily acceptable as a third liner.
MacArthur is gritty enough to be a third liner and his offense would be welcomed there.
You can make an argument for most of the guys. Problem is Burke wants to push them up to a spot beyond their capabilities. Might be fine for a short stretch, but long term and in the playoffs forget about it.
