Boy, irony all around. 2 ex-Preds score and Hemsky gets 2 goals...the guy no one here (me included) wanted!!
Where's the anger? Where's the push back? I thought Suter didn't care and now NONE OF THEM DO!! Must be waiting on the savior Radulov. |

It should be 4-3 right now. I still can't get over how horrible that no goal call was, especially when they gave Edmonton a goal when the guy ran Rinne over. |

Another careless play, another breakaway, 5-2 Oilers, this one's over folks. What a terrible wasted opportunity tonight. This team finds new ways to crap all over themselves when the door is open for them to overtake Detroit. |

Gagner was pushed in, it was iffy, he probably could have avoided Rinne better. Could have went either way, but the no goal was one of the worst calls i've seen this year |

Either they both count, or they both don't count. Be consistent, that is all I ask. But I know I'm asking too much from NHL officiating. |

I agree, he was knocked, but the fact that the ref's didn't consider that part of it in the review is what's effed up.
The no goal is the worst call I've ever seen. It's like getting a penalty shot with no goalie and the Ref calling it a no-goal. |

The power play has reverted to the old Preds power play. Pass, pass, pass, pass, hold, pass, pass, shoot, deflected out. |

If this same team shows up Thursday they will get embarrassed in Pittsburgh. This post All Star break Predators team is destined for another 1st round exit if they don't get their heads out of their asses and quickly. |

Does anybody remember how nobody wanted Hemsky at the trade deadline? I didn't either. I guess that's irony. |

Where is Josi? Him and Gill were a good D pairing. Gill and Ellis have been a disaster together. |

On the plus side. The Preds don't have to worry about facing Edmonton in the playoffs. How they can have winning records against Vancouver and St. Louis, but get run over by Edmonton constantly boggles the mind. |

Dude. You're a really negative person, not this specific post, but in general. And this is the first time, I'm fairly certain, that Ellis and Gill have played on the same pairing.
This game had a lot of things that pointed to us winning it. 43 shots on goal. 1 fluky goal and 1 that should have probably been called a no-goal (only probably). Empty netters are almost a guarantee and if Hornqvist's 1st goal counts like it should have, it's a tie game. Overall, it wasn't a truly bad game. Halischuk's pass to the middle for Hemsky's hattie was awful. Jones' PP goal sucked. But that's hockey man, we aren't destined for a 1st round exit playing like this.
Sorry for the criticism, but man, it's just painful to watch. |

The Oil deserved to win no doubt. But I haven't heard the arena that mad at a blown call by a ref in maybe forever.
I'm not trying to bag on the ref, but I am perplexed as to what he saw there. That is the most frustrating part I guess.
The two teams I would want no part of in a playoff are the Oilers and the Kings.
Finally, Rads is back. For the sake of the team I hope he plays well. I still have my doubts about his motivations here. But hey if it keeps Detroit Fan livid at the 'cheating' Preds I always can use the laugh. Seriously, I followed a little bit of a Detroit's fan twitter feed tonight and they intimated the NHL were purposely allowing the Preds to cheat so that they could showcase a small-market team in the playoffs. That makes perfect sense right? I'm sure the NHL would love nothing more to bathe in the national TV ratings the Preds would bring over the Wings in a Stanley Cup Final *cough* *cough*.
It's going to be electric Saturday night. Paul, at least give the boy from Russia a proper intro. Plus, its my little girl's first live hockey game. |

I can think of a few, but that was probably the longest the fans have protested a bad call. To me, some of the "intent to whistle" no-goal calls are on the same level. The whole "I intended to blow it dead even though the puck was still loose and the Preds shot it in the net" thing actually seems worse. |

I want to know what the proper ruling on the disputed Edmonton goal should have been. It did appear that we assisted the Oiler into Pekka. However, in previous games when the opposite happened and the Preds were pushed into the goaltender while we scored, the refs disallowed the goal for inadvertent contact. I am cool with it being one OR the other, just not both. I would love some consistency in how this type of play is called.
Oh, who am I kidding...
Does it seem like we get more of these controversial goal calls when Devorski is officiating? |

To the people wondering, can't believe you don't already know, but Josi is hurt and Wilson has a tweaked groin. Trotz said he had no intentions of scratching Wilson in San Jose but that he tweaked his groin at morning skate. He's not benching Wilson, atleast not publically. |
