I just can't buy into this kid for some reason. He only looks "good" when the Islanders are playing for nothing. I don't know if that's a coincidence or not but the only thing I see him "excelling" at is on the PK. Woo hoo!

Ok I got a big beef!! The Rangers Devils brawl is getting rave reviews from around the league and the NHL!! REally!! When the Islanders tore through the Penguins it was the most despicable thing ever in the NHL and everyone wanted the Islanders head. So what is the difference here?? They put all there goons out there brawled it up right after the puck dropped. We decided to wait a little and goon it up. NHL at times makes me sick saying it is fine for some teams to act like NEanthadals but rip into other teams. Someone please explain this to me??

Bailey sucks bottome line. I mean woo hoo he scored give the guy a metal. Still gives upo the puck way to much and for about 79 out of the 82 games he is invisible

I really have no idea what u are watching. He is one of the best backcheckers on this team. Everytime he is on the ice and the other team has the puck he is flying back... most times before the defense. He is invisible b/c u don't like him... period. He for the most part has been on shtty lines with guy like Rolston and Pandolfo. Shocker that once Rolston is off his line he is more productive.. total shocker. He is 22 and you will all be happy he is on this team next year.

then the same argument can be made for Nino then. Put him on a better line and see how he does. You are right I dont like him. Maybe he can back check but really has not help this team out that much they still suck and he is part of it

That is not the Point Bailey has only showed up when the team is out of it. No more pressure so now he can do what he wants. That was teh comparison

The guy has coached 16 games since 1995... He wasnt that great in LA.. he wasnt good at all in Tampa... Why do we NEED him?

B. I have not given up on Nino he is 19 for crying out loud.
C. Bailey has shown flashes of very very good.. and kills penalties.. and plays well in own end... none of those things Nino is doing yet.. YET.
D. Back checking and killing penalties DOES HELP A TEAM. points are not all that matters.

some of the plays bailey has made where he hasn't scored have given me the impression that he's lacking confidence but when he gets it, he could explode. He just looks a little off, but he's playing a lot better.

He could step up, or he could fall back next year. It's tough to say but until we have someone who absolutely replaces him, he gets a shot again to break out.

Phew!! at least you understand then. See how he is just like Comeau now!! Rolston being gone did not mean his resurrection in the NHL. Him being switched off of center helped him
