I would love to have St.Louis on my team. The guy never stops working and skating.
Maybe Ennis will grow into a similar style player.
St. Louis didn't break out till he was 27 and ennis at 22 already has a 20 goal season. And is on pace for 20 goals if he played entire season.
It's possible he could have a similar career I think he is the most talented offensive player on the team...his size though |

I honestly think that some team is gonna see how strong Sulzer is playing for us now and offer him a better deal than we can so he will leave.
Myers - Ehrhoff
Sekera - Leopold
Regehr - McNabb
Scratch Weber - MillerTime1130
I see Regehr dropping to #5. |

I can actually see Olli over those 2.... Kyle Wellwood maybe... |
|
|
|
I could see Goose, Stoll or Jokinen as the 4th center next year, depending upon if Roy is still here or not.
Boyes it to talented to be a 4th liner, but not physical enough to be one either.
I'd have to think that Weber is out and McNabb is in... I'd like to see Sulzer resigned. He's a good 6th man that can fight with McNabb. - Chipd
Goose will probably get around 3M/year in free agency. Waay too much for a 4th line player |

Prust loves NYC... he'll get a nice raise there this season. We'd have to pay Goose money for his production... won't happen.
Konopka is a bruiser... the NHL is getting away from those. Not enough talent for Lindy. - Chipd
Never stopped him from playing Mair or Ellis. |

I agree with this.... i think Gerbe will be here next year.... Roy maybe not...
I would trade Roy to Ottawa for Foligno...
Foligno - Ennis - Foligno - BuffaloKyle
I'd be a HUGE fan of that. The other Foligno is a RFA after this season I believe.
but you can't take Stafford off that line right now.. 9 points in 5 games for Stafford. |

RJ used to have a little lean, but in the last number of years he is closer to Jack Edwards than Gary Thorne in that regard. - Gunner Staal
I have no problem with that.
Every team should have a guy that does not talk in one tone and can add some color to their game vocabulary.

if that happened you could always do Foligno - Hodge - Leino |

I see your point on size.
But a team that needs a decent 2nd line center in Roy will oblige. Gerbe has proven that he has potential to be a solid 3rd liner guy - MillerTime1130
Has he?
He showed more playing on the 4th line. |

Being excitable and whining are very different. I find RJ whining more often than he used to. |

Vanek - Hodge - Pommer HAS to work. unless we trade for a #1 center.

RJ definitely has exhibited a "miserable old man" syndrome over the past 3 years or so. |

i realized that and went back and changed it.
I can't decide...
Would I want Downie in a RFA year or N. Foligno in a RFA year?? |

IMO we go into next season with Hodgson and Ennis as our #1-2 with glaring holes at the 3-4 center spot. They move Roy at the draft and make a play for a top 2 center in order to role 3 scoring lines like the 1st two seasons after the lockout.
Problem is they lose out on that center. |
