As long as Tebow doesn't go to the Raiders, Miami or Browns, he will succeed
- Full Throttle

I don't see the Browns even going after him. I think they like what they have in McCoy. They're probably better off just leaving things alone as far as that goes.

What wont be terrible is selling out tickets guaranteed for the length of the contract, selling 105,000 Peyton Manning jerseys, playing 3 primetime games at home every season.

Every team in the NFL gets primetime games now so that really doesnt matter

If nothing else it opens to the door to jack prices up 10%.

Yeah - Denver doesn't strike me as a gimmicky operation, I think this is done purely for football reasons. I'm no Tebow apologist (I don't like the God-squad attaching themselves to him, etc), but I do think he's a compelling player (he really seems to get under the skin of the talking heads who think they know what an NFL QB should look like and I find this enjoyable). I think it would be terrific if he went to Jax or Miami and led them to the playoffs.

They seemed pretty pissed that the Rams didn't allow them to counter-offer what the Redskins gave up to get the 2nd pick in the draft (RGIII).

Is that true? I thought I heard it on GR but I didn't look into it. Its about f-in time. They always think they are so genius putting last years division winners on prime time 4 times and the schedule sucks. Colts-Jaguars = no fun in 2011 on tv.

Manning should have went to the Soft NFC West. Not the grueling AFC West. He will get murdered. It will be enjoyable to watch Denver not make the playoffs.

Yes every team gets at least 1 prime time home game a year. The bills have a monday night game against NE this year. Probably the best thing the NFL has done EVER haha

I hate the Thursday night games. They feel completely unnatural. At this point, I feel like the NFL is starting to overstep their boundaries.

There are plenty of primetime games already that they could have gotten every team in at least once without having to expand the number of Thursday night games.

I dont think that is entirely true, they were more than willing to match the Redskins offer for the Ram's #2 pick, which tells me they are more than ready to move on if a better option is available.

I would think they wouldn't believe Tebow is a better option. But, that's just me. There's a pretty big difference between Tebow and RGIII

I'm starting to feel like the NFL is the Roman empire in its day. They feel like everything they do is right and they cant do any wrong. Examples, the bullpoope rule enforcements, overexposure in the media, skyrocketing salaries, overpriced stadiums, a franchise in London? That being said I think Thursday games are overkill, but then again when Thursday rolls around and nothing is on TV I appreciate it. NFL network BLOWS at broadcasting though.

yet somehow nobody questions whether RGIII will make it as a QB and there were nothing but question marks around Tebow going into the draft. Just saying.

That show should not be on TV in any way. If having the NFL on more on Thursday nights leads to less ratings for that, I'm all for it.

Vince would be better if he wasn't such a head case. It was like he expected things to go a certain way and when they didn't he didn't know how to react.

I don't know that RGIII is considered bust-proof, but he clearly has skills that lend themselves better to being a great pro QB than Tebow has. That said, I believe that there is a place for Tebow as a starting QB in this league-- hopefully he will find the right spot.
