I wanted Quick. Depending on what the Flyers would have had to give up, I still think that would have been the move to make.

Bryzgalov has to win one Cup during the course of his contract, if he does it was a great move.

Bryzgalov can't win a Cup on his own. All he can do is play at the level he is playing currently. If he does so the majority of the time over the time he is here, then it was a great move. It takes a team to win a Cup.

That may be alarmist speech. Even if his knees are messed up, he has another year on the deal and I 'm sure he'll either grit through the pain this year, or take the year off and get ready for 2013.
- steelydan

Maybe so. But he has cartilage damage in his knees. That doesn't get better. He could take a year off and that wouldn't get better. I don't think it's a question of gritting through the pain. It's a question of being able to do what he needs to do on the field.

The Insurance company charges the deductable...
- RooNosHockey

Any good body shop is capable of hiding the deductible in the damage or at least part of it. Usually what you find is your auto body guy adds an extra $500 to the damage estimate if he can and then he gets paid by the insurance company including the $500 he would have got, thus, not needing to collect it from you.

which is 500 dollars less then the quote the dealership gives them... If your getting away from paying the deductable then the car shop is ripping the insurance company off by over quoting the repair bid...
- RooNosHockey

Correct and (frank) the insurance companies. I pay every year to have protection on my car, I shouldn't have to pay $500 extra in "deductible" before they decide to fix it. A good body shop understands that and still gets paid. It happens every where, all the time.

Well, we know why insurance is so expensive. Why not get cheaper insurance with a higher deductible and steal even more from other policy holders and retirement and pension plans that are the primary investors in the companies?
