I was curious to see if the Winter Classic was the only two goal game of Rupp's career. He's actually had four other 2 goal games, as well as a hat trick as a Penguin against the Rags. That surprised the hell out of me.

I rather have Shelley on my team.

Please

You don't think Hartnell has done something similar at the bottom of a pile? I would have been OK with a misconduct as stated above but lets not go overboard.

Oh lord. That wasn't the motive behind looking that up. Was just curious. I thought for sure it would be the only two goal game of his career.

Shelley has a 2 goal game against Calgary on 11/9/03. I hope Jamie McLennan has Twitter.

because he's talented and just jumping from KHL to the NHL what's to stop other teams from just taking the best players from the KHL into the NHL before the playoffs
- 2Real

The fact that they don't have them under contract. The only reason this works for Nashville is that Radulov is still under a valid contract with them. It's why he doesn't have to go through waivers. That is not true of any other KHL player with any other NHL team.

Giroux is more of a playmaker who can score, he's unselfish almost to a fault. If he averages 25 goals a year I'm fine with that.

Crosby only has 7 hat tricks. Thought he would have more. They are hard to get.

what if say we signed jagr to a 5 year contract then he bolts for the KHL and is "suspended" then we bring him back before each year of the playoffs does that fall under the valid contract rule too?

Over 35 deal, counts no matter what against cap...

Radulov left for KHL while he had a valid contract with Nashville. Immediately after, the NHL and KHL came to agreement to respect each other's valid contracts, meaning that a guy couldn't jump from one to the other, unless it was a buy out or other situation where the team owning rights allowed the player to jump.

Radulov is a unique case. When this year is done, his deal with Nashville is over and he's a RFA. He can sign here and buy out his existing KHL deal, or return there.

jim park would have thrown him out of his school. this might be the least effective positioning - even on a faceoff, which that shot clearly depicts - that i've ever seen. i guess he planned on making saves with just the heel of the that wally stick.
