Kubina is day to day...Seems like they expect him back this week at some point.
- Jsaquella

The Flyers are going to need him in the lineup come playoff time. Not having Mez sucks but I think they have three other options for that 6th spot.

Funny you say that bc they are one of the interested teams according to Rotoworld.

what do you think tebow would be worth? kolb was a 2nd round pick + the safety about the same?

the insurance company already gave me a list of approved places in my area and if go to one outside of their list i have to go through some long approval process through them
- 2Real

It's been a long time since I've had to do it but the last time it was the other guy's fault. His insurance company came out like two days later to look at my truck. The adjuster sent me a check the next week. So in your case I guess it would be different. good luck.

The Insurance company charges the deductable...
- RooNosHockey

Actually, the deductable is what you have to pay BEFORE insurance kicks in. What Joe is saying is, if you go to a body shop, they might bill you $1200. Say the deductable is $500. That means the insurance will pay $700. If you can make a deal with the shop owner, he might "bill" you $1200 and do the work for $900

Rumor has it that the Broncos are willing to part with him on the cheap. They wont ask for a lot in return. My guess is a 4th or 5th rounder.

It sucks, but it's not a backbreaker.

does he need a restraining order against you?
- ob18

No. I don't even stalk him at the PAWS (where I know he goes to play with the kitty cats).

Anytime I've dealt with it I just remember insurance companies paying me out right. This is only like 3 times too and over ten years ago so something could have changed I just try not to get accidents anymore

What i hate about these things is the first thing i wonder is---could he have gotten surgery earlier and had shot at coming back for the playoffs instead of waiting a month before making the decision??
- FlyersFirst

Most responsible back guys want to see how it responds to other treatment unless it is clear cut from the beginning that surgery is required. You don't operate on the spine unless you have to (if you're good).

Some will just cut you a check and others will give you a list of garages. Our last insurance compnay was like that. The current one just cuts a check

They won't get a lot for him ...teams don't want him...he would be only a great fit for JAX just so they can sell tickets.

I've always dealt with the shop directly and gotten the insurance company to send me a check for the cost of repair.
- JoeRussomanno

which is 500 dollars less then the quote the dealership gives them... If your getting away from paying the deductable then the car shop is ripping the insurance company off by over quoting the repair bid...

I think a 5th rounder will get it done. Thats the best offer that will be made IMO and thats being on the positive side.

Surprised Bogosian didn't get a couple few games. Obviously left his feet, although he didn't target the head

I'm not saying you get completely out of the deductible. But the shop can work with you on it, don't see how that's ripping anyone off. If you understand automotive work at all you will know there is always wiggle room in the pricing.

The Insurance company charges the deductable...
- RooNosHockey

I think he's suggesting insurance fraud. Jack up the estimate for the insurance co. Then accept their payment and not charge the guy the $500 for his portion. It's against the law for you and them. And a place that would do that may very well do you dirty, too.

i'd like it

- 2Real

Vick already has Tony Dungy for that.
